Giovanni Vitapro Fusion Leave-In Hair Treatment Review

I came across this little beauty in the Gourmet West section of Westside, Kala Ghoda. I generally stay away from silicone loaded serum coz, from my experience, I have noticed that they end up making my hair dryer over a period of time. This leave-in treatment is a mixture of vitamins and protein and NO SILICONES! And what cinched the deal was this little lable on the bottle:

Contains certified organic ingredients (USDA certified)! No SLS! No Parabens! No Mineral Oil! No Artificial Colours! No Phthalates! No Formaldehyde! No Propylene Glycol! No Triethanolamine!

It is for all hair types and claims that it’s unique blend of vitamins and proteins protect hair from heat and chemicals while repairing dry, damaged hair.

Ingredients:

Aqua (Purified water), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Natural Fragrance, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) leaf juice, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) seed oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) seed extract, Betula Alba extract, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) extract, Achillea Millefolium extract, Chamomilia Recutita (Matricaria) flower extract, Equisetum Arvense extract, Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) extract, Rosemarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) leaf extract, Salvia Sclarea (Clary) extract, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) extract, Tussilago Farfara (Coltsfoot) flower extract, urtica Dioica (Nettle) extract.

All natural and organic ingredients. Isn’t that great!!!

It comes in a 150ml spray bottle and all you need to do is spray on clean, damp hair and comb through to distribute evenly and then you can style as usual.
I have used this just 4-5 times but I feel that this is truly a good product for my dry hair. My hair does feel healthier and is a little shinier too when I use this. I avoid heat styling my hair on a regular basis (just do it on weekends) to preserve my hair’s health and with this on  my hair, I feel better that my hair is being protected.

Price: Rs 595 for 150 ml.

My verdict:

A fabulous, organic, vitamin and protein enriched product is like a saviour for all those with hair like mine, dry, damaged and frizzy. I really like the fact that it has no silicones (unlike all those ultra expensive serums which are marketed as miracle “oils”- you know which ones I’m talking about). 3-4 sprays are enough for my mid-back length hair, so this bottle should last me a couple of months.  I am just soooooo glad I found this. I will now buy the shampoo and conditioner from this brand too!
