I had bought just two products from The Étude House on my recent trip to Hong Kong, one was the Precious Mineral BB Cream and the other was this darling little pink owl!!! This cutie is the Étude House Missing Me Hand Cream and this pinkie pie is Eagle Owl.
I really love the L’Occitane Hand Creams and didn’t really want a different hand cream. I bought this only for the little pink owl. Isn’t it adorable?
Here’s what the brand says about this hand cream and the Eagle Owl:
Formulated with Shea Butter and Herb Water rich in certified organic nutrients, this Eco-friendly hand cream not only moisturises dry hands, but also helps to save our endangered flying friends.
4-Free Formula: No Parabens, Sulfate, Ethanol, Mineral Oil.
Story of Eagle Owl:
Hi! I’m Eagle Owl, the great night bird! I like to hunt during night time, with my big eyes lit as headlights. I am in danger of extinction because hunting has become so difficult in bright city nights. Please help me to fly freely again!
The cream is pale pink and the texture is light, like a gel-creme rather than a thick greasy cream. It absorbs instantly into the skin and moisturises it very well, leaving the skin soft and hydrated without any shine or greasy feeling. Honestly, I had not expected the cream to be so good. And the fragrance is lovely!!! Though this one is “Very Berry Cherry” the fragrance is more floral rather than fruity, but not a powdery floral (I can’t stand that). The fragrance is a very delicate floral fragrance and I love smelling my hands after I apply this cream.
Priced at HK$ 60 (which is approx Rs. 465), this hand cream costs less than the L’Occitane hand cream but is just as good (though the L’Occitane Shea Butter hand creams is thicker and much better for dry winters). Not to mention the gorgeous packaging that obviously, L’Occitane doesn’t have. Once I use up this hand cream, I’m going to empty out my L’Occitane tube into this.
What’s your favourite hand cream? Do you have a crush on this little cutie too?
